EEO and Anti-Bullying Training for Senior Managers Custodians of Culture
Target Audience:
CEO and Senior Management
Key Objective:
To ensure that participants understand the background and spirit of Equal Employment Opportunity legislation and anti-bullying guidelines; the organisational policy; and their responsibilities, as managers, in the area of EEO. This includes a focus on dealing with issues and the leadership responsibility of role modelling.
Learning Outcomes:

At the conclusion of this program, participants should:

  • Understand management styles and their impact on the business.
  • Understand the legal framework related to employment.
  • Understand the concept of vicarious liability and how it relates to the everyday conduct of a manager. This includes OHS, EEO and anti-bullying.
  • Be able to handle dispute resolution and follow appropriate grievance procedures.
  • Achieve great performance with individuals and teams.
  • Manage performance and non-performance effectively.
  • Understand EEO and anti-bullying resolution processes.
  • Understand the importance of effective relationships in preventing workplace issues
  • Understanding the importance of role-modelling
  • The importance of achieving optimum performance of employees through the provision of direction and 'personal motivators' such as careers structure, reward and recognition, and ongoing feedback
  • Understand considerations for attracting and retaining talent
Resources:

Program Facilitator and Workplace Reality Theatre (Professional actors).

Structure: 3 hours
