Managers with a responsibility for influencing high performance outcomes from their team and who are required to manage staff performance issues.
Key Objective:
To build the competence and confidence of participants to effectively manage staff performance related issues within the workplace. This includes management of non-performance and tactics to foster a performance focused environment. In the workplace.
Learning Outcomes:
At the conclusion of the program participants should be able to demonstrate the following:
An ability to conduct a one on one meeting with a staff member that is effective in providing performance feedback and identifying strategies to enhance individual performance
An understanding of the link between on-going performance and effective regular engagement of reporting staff
An understanding of the principles of managing poor performance in the workplace
The ability to conduct a performance counselling session with a staff member
An understanding of the very basic principles and processes associated with Formal Warnings and Termination of employees
